In honor of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (September 11-15), Choose Healthy Life (CHL) is hosting a reception to address health disparities, celebrate achievements, and highlight ongoing efforts.

The event aims to foster dialogue among faith leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, community and corporate stakeholders. Congressional leaders will offer remarks, and CHL leadership – its Clergy Council, Medical Advisory Board, and corporate partners like Novo Nordisk, Siemens Foundation and Quest Diagnostics Foundation – will network with key stakeholders.

We'll discuss CHL's unique approach and highlight the Health Equity Innovation Act of 2024 (HEIA), the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act (TROA) and other critical legislation addressing health disparities in our communities.

Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.
